Suspected NSCN (R) militants kill civilian in Arunachal Pradesh's Changlang

Guwahati, Aug 28 (IBNS): Suspected militants of NSCN (R) killed a civilian in Arunachal Pradesh's Changlang district on Monday night.

According to the reports, the incident took place at Longlung village under Kantang circle

The deceased person was identified as 37-year-old Hangkon Solthing hailing from Jongji Havi village under Khimyung administrative circle of Changlang South.

According to the reports, some armed militants of NSCN (R) assaulted the person with lathi at Longlung village under Kantang circle as the militant group suspected the man had allegedly collected money from the villagers for NSCN (K).

Hangkon was reportedly brought to a hospital at Changlang where but he succumbed to his injuries.
