Suspect arrested in south Kashmir

Srinagar/UNI: A suspect was apprehended along with a pistol in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, an official said.

A Central Reserve Police Force spokesman said the suspect was apprehended at Arwani bridge at Bijbehara in Anantnag. The CRPF did not disclose the identity of the arrested suspect.

“He was apprehended by a joint party of CRPF and police at around 2.30 pm.

A pistol was also recovered,” he added. The suspect has been handed over to police for questioning.
