Susma Swaraj returns home after Bangladesh trip
The trip has been considered by Indian officials as 'extremely satisfying'.
MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin was quoted as saying by bdnews24.com: "The visit was extremely satisfying and fulfilling.”
During her visit, she met top leaders of the country including President Abdul Hamid, Prime minister Sheikh Hasina and her counterpart Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali.
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chief Khaleda Zia and Jatiya Party leader Rowshan Ershad.
Swaraj on Friday offered prayers at Dhakeshwari temple here, media reports said.
This was Swaraj's first foreign visit after becoming the External Affairs Minister.
