Sushma Swaraj condoles death of Indians who went missing in US

New Delhi, Apr 17 (IBNS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday condoled the death of an Indian family which went missing in the United States recently, media reports said.

Swaraj tweeted, "My heartfelt condolences on the tragic deaths of Sandeep Thotapilly, Soumya and their two children. All the four bodies have been recovered from Eel river in California (US). We are helping their families in the visa process to enable their travel to US."

The family went missing on Apr 5 as it was going to meet with family members in California, US.

The incident coincided with an incident of a vehicle falling in Eel River on the same day.

Sandeep Thottapilly (42) and his daughter Saachi were discovered dead inside the vehicle which was found in the sediment of Eel River.

Soumya Thottapilly's body was discovered from another area.

Siddhant Thottapilly's body was reportedly discovered few miles north from where the incident occurred.
