Sri Lankan Defence Minister Premitha Bandara Tennakoon meets Anil Chauhan, appreciates India's continued support to SL Armed Forces

Sri Lankan Defence Minister Premitha Bandara Tennakoon appreciated India's continued support to the Sri Lanka Armed Forces during his meeting with Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan.

He also praised India’s impressive progress in establishing a strong defence industrial base.

"Mr Premitha Bandara Tennakoon, State Minister of Defence #Sri Lanka met #CDS Gen Anil Chauhan on 20 Oct 2022.He appreciated continued support to the Sri Lanka Armed Forces and praised India’s impressive progress in establishing a strong defence industrial base," Principal Spokesperson, Ministry of Defence, A. Bharat Bhushan Babu.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of DefExpo22.

Several top Defence leaders attended the Expo in India this year.
