SP-BSP bonhomie is going to end on May 23: PM Modi

| @indiablooms | Apr 20, 2019, at 06:54 pm

Etah, Apr 20 (UNI) Predicting that the date on which the Samajwadi Party-Bahujan Samaj Party (SP-BSP) bonhomie will end had been decided, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said here on Saturday that Uttar Pradesh will teach a lesson to those trying to divide the society in the elections.

Addressing a rally at the Ramlila ground in Etah, Modi said that the date on which the SP-BSP friendship will break has been decided, adding that the date was May 23.

Modi said that considering the large crowd that has gathered, it seemed like the results of the election had been decided. People sitting in Delhi say that there is no ‘wave.’ The mood of the public cannot be identified while sitting in air conditioned rooms.

Following the voting of the first and the second phases, the faces of the people who abused me have turned pale. This election is between two kinds of people—those who divide the country on the basis of religion and caste due to selfish interests and those who dream about the development of the country, the PM said.
Modi said, “The SP-BSP have different flags but their intentions are the same. Governments changed but the work of looting traders and farmers continued all the same. The torture of the Dalits has been witnessed by everyone in the tenure of ‘babua’ (Akhilesh Yadav) and ‘bua’ (Mayawati).

Launching a scathing attack at the Samajwadi Party, the PM said, “During the SP tenure, the law and order situation was talked about a lot. Female school children had to face a lot of problems while going to school in the SP regime.

Modi said that the people in Uttar Pradesh could never prefer those who made one's enemy one's friends, rather they were standing in support of a strong government which was increasing the pride of the country. People are well aware of the history of those making hollow promises and hollow friendships.

The PM said, “Today the whole world is witnessing the strength of the nation. The world is respecting India. This government has prioritised national security.

Terrorist spots were destroyed by the Army after entering Pakistan. The SP-BSP will not be able to free the country of terrorism and eradicating it. Even together, they will not be able to face it. Not only Modi will do this work, your each and every vote will do it.”

The PM further said that the country’s security and to save it from people indulging in corruption and middlemen was their nationalism.

Modi said that the SP-BSP did the ‘mahamilawat’ of self-interest, adding that they had undermined the wisdom of the voters.

He further said, “In the garb of working towards the interest of the poor people, the SP-BSP increased their bank balance. I will give you an example of how they work. We kept asking for the names of the poor people for whom houses had to be constructed during the SP regime. But they kept looking after their bungalows. We kept writing letters persistently from Delhi asking for the list but they were busy in making their houses fancy.”

The PM said that it was because of the people of Uttar Pradesh who voted for the Yogi Adityanath government that the pace of getting houses constructed had now picked up. Over one-and-half crore 'Pradhan Mantri Awas' equipped with electricity, toilets, gas connection were constructed for the poor people and those who did not get a house till now, will get one now. When in 2022, 75 years of Independence will be marked, every poor man will have a house of their own. We are working with this goal.

Modi said that one hand the Modi government will be formed and on the other, the SP-BSP friendship will break. No one will waste votes on people doing fake friendship.

Enlisting his achievements, he said that the maximum profit of the Kisan scheme had been to UP. The money of the first and the second installment of the Kisan Nidhi Yojana had reached the farmers of this state. The benefits of the Ayushman Yojana are reaching the poor people. This security has been given to every poor individual by this ‘chowkidar.’
