Some 'issues' over portfolio allocation with Congress: Kumaraswamy
Bengaluru, May 27 (IBNS): Karnataka chief minister HD Kumaraswamy has said there are some "issues" on portfolio allocation with Congress, with whom his party JD(S) has made a coalition to form the government, media reports said.
However, he made it clear that the same won't pull down the government.
"Portfolios have not been allocated. There are some issues regarding portfolios, but it is not an issue that will pull down the government ...," Kumaraswamy told reporters here.
Kumaraswamy took oath as the Chief Minister of Karnataka on Wednesday.
JD(S) and the Congress came to a post-poll alliance to keep the BJP out of power.
While the Congress has 78 MLAs, the JD(S) has 36. The coalition has also garnered support from the lone MLA of BSP and an independent.
