'Slight' earthquake hits Haryana, tremors felt in Delhi

New Delhi, Aug 22 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter Scale hit Mahendragarh in Haryana on Monday with its tremor being felt in New Delhi, officials said.

The epicentre of the quake was located at latitude 28.1 degrees north and 76.1 degrees east, as per the IMD website.

The quake was felt at 14:50 hrs at a depth of 10 kilomentres.

The IMD called the intensity of the quake as 'slight'.

No casualty has been reported so far.
