Singer Zubeen Garg sentenced to three months of imprisonment

New Delhi, Oct 9 (IBNS): Gangster-fame singer Zubeen Garg has been sentenced to three months of imprisonment in a 2013 case, where he assaulted a man who was smoking in public, media reports said.

Garg has also been fined five thousand rupees along with a three-month imprisonment.

The singer, in 2013, had slapped the son of a advocate Arup Borbora for smoking in public.

Singer from Assam, Zubeen Garg, has also worked in the Bengali film industry along with Assamese and Bollywood films.
