Singapore president arrives in India
The visit is part of the 50thanniversary commemoration activities that India and Singapore are undertaking this year.
"We look forward to the visit of the President of Singapore to India. It is our hope that this visit will lead to further strengthening of our bilateral relations, our economic interactions, and our cooperation with Singapore in terms of our regional and international matters in international organisations and regional organisations," MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin had said on Feb 5.
During his visit, Tony Tan Keng Yam will meet top leaders in India.
