Shoe thrown at Kejriwal during Rohtak rally

Rohtak, Jan 1 (IBNS): A shoe was hurled at Delhi Chief Miister Arvind Kejriwal while he was addressing a rally at Rohtak in Haryana on Sunday.

The shoe, however, fell short of Kejriwal, reports said.

The attacker was handed over to the police.

Kejriwal accussed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's supporters for the incident.

He tweeted: "I said Modiji is a coward. Today, some of his supporters threw a shoe at me. Modiji, we can also do it but our values do not permit us to perform such an act."

"I am going to keep exposing the truth behind demonetisation and the Sahara Birla bribery despite the CBI raids and shoe attacks," the Delhi Chief Minister said.
