Shiv Sena slams Modi, BJP over Delhi debacle
Mumbai, Feb 11 (IBNS): After a sweeping victory of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the Delhi assembly polls, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s ally Shiv Sena has attacked the BJP calling the AAP victory a tsunami that neutralized both Modi magic and calculations of party president and poll strategist Amit Shah.
Shiv Sena in its party mouthpiece Saamna on Wednesday attacked Modi calling it his defeat and wrote that Delhiites have used broom to sweep the BJP.
"If this is not his [Modi} defeat then whose defeat is it," asked Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray.
The Shiv Sena on Tuesday congratulated Aam Aadmi party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal for leading his party to register a massive victory in the Delhi Assembly polls.
The AAP posted a landslide victory in Delhi Assembly polls picking up 67 of the total 70 seats in the national capital.
