Shiv Sena mulling to contest Delhi polls

Mumbai, Jan 17 (IBNS): The Shiv Sena is likely to contest the Delhi Assembly elections scheduled to be held next month, media reports said.

Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray said: “We are thinking about contesting the Delhi polls. A final decision will be taken soon. However, there has been no talk so far on a poll alliance with anyone.”

Thackeray said that his party is fully supportive of the cause of farmers.

“Shiv Sena is in the government but if injustice is being meted out to farmers, we will support farmers he said.
