Sheila Dikshit denies Rahul criticism, claims being misquoted
New Delhi, Apr 14 (IBNS): Congress leader and former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit on Tuesday denied that she questioned party Vice President Rahul Gandhi's leadership quality and claimed that she was misquoted by media.
Dikshit has clarified that she has not made any remarks against Gandhi while giving an interviewing to a news agency.
"I have never said anything like that and I will never say anything like that," Sheila Dikshit said.
"The word Rahul Gandhi was not used. I don't know why it was twisted," she said.
"There was no question of talking about Rahul Gandhi," she said.
This comes after the news agency quoted her raising question marks over Rahul Gandhi's leadership qualities and saying that Congress president Sonia Gandhi should lead the party.
