SER win Govind Vallabh Pant Shied for efficient in National Railway Week Celebrations

Kolkata, Apr 24 (IBNS) South Eastern Railway (SER) bagged the coveted Govind Vallabh Pant Shield for overall efficiency among all the Zonal Railways in the 62nd National Railway Week Celebrations at Board’s level at a mega function held at Raipur, Chhatishgarh on Saturday, 22.04.2017.

S.N.Agrawal, General Manager, South Eastern Railway received the prestigious Govind Vallabh Pant Shield from Rail Minister Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu.  Moreover, Traffic Transportation Shield was also won by South Eastern Railway and was received by Shri Suchitto Kumar Das, Chief Operations Manager, South Eastern Railway.

Apart from these, three officials of South Eastern Railway were also awarded for their exemplary performance.  The names of those awarded are Shri Brajesh Kumar, Track Maintainer, Gr. IV, Shri Ashit Chandra Das, Technician, Gr.I and Shri Asis Kumar Misra, Asstt. Area Manager.

The National Railway Week Celebrations at Railway Board’s level is the highest Award function where efficiency Shields are given to the Zonal Railways in recognition of their achievements and the selected employees are awarded after critically reviewing and evaluating their performances and devoted services round the year.
