Senior NC leader injured in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 26 (IBNS): Senior National Conference (NC) leader and candidate of upcoming assembly election Ghulam Nabi Ratinpuri got injured when irritated youths attacked his cavalcade with stones at Ranzipora village of Pulwama district in South Kashmir on Wednesday, reports said.
Ratinpuri received minor injuries and was later shifted to a Srinagar hospital.
 
Police official told IBNS that the NC leader was person in charge for a road show when his motor vehicle came under stone pelting.
 
Police have registered a case in this regard and very soon culprits will be arrested, an official said.
 
Ratanpuri is the member of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Labour, Parliamentary Forum on Children and the Parliamentary Consultative Committee for HRD Ministry.
