School girl allegedly gang-raped in Noida

Ghaziabad, Jan 8 (IBNS): A 16-year-old schoolgirl was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by three men in Noida on Wednesday, police said.

The victim was a class-X student who was on her way back home when the incident happened on Wednesday evening. She was picked up by the trio in a speeding SUV.

The girl was taken to a house in Noida, gang-raped and then thrown back near her house. The three accused, all aged 20 years, have been taken into the police custody.

Reports said a medical examination will be conducted on the girl to find out if she was sexually assaulted. A case was registered under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) against the trio.
