SC bans 15-yr-old petrol, 10-yr-old diesel vehicles in NCR
New Delhi, Oct 29 (IBNS): The Supreme Court on Monday prohibited 15-year-old petrol, 10-year-old diesel vehicles from plying on Delhi roads.
The apex court has directed the transport department to announce that such vehicles will be impounded if found plying in the National Capital Region.
The move has been taken as an attempt to control the pollution in the capital.
Earlier, the National Green Tribunal had also banned such vehicles in Delhi.
