Sameh Hassan Shoukry, Foreign Minister of Egypt calls on Prime Minister Modi

New Delhi, Mar 23 (IBNS): Sameh Hassan Shoukry, Foreign Minister of Egypt, who is on a visit to India in the context of Seventh Meeting of the bilateral Joint Commission, called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday.

The Minister conveyed to Prime Minister Modi, greetings from President Sisi of Egypt. Prime Minister Modi requested the Minister to convey his best wishes to President Sisi, read a government statement.

The two dignitaries discussed the shared commitment of India and Egypt to strengthen bilateral engagement.

Deepening of cooperation in areas such as infrastructure, trade and investment and people-to-people relations was discussed.
