New Delhi, Sept 28 (IBNS): The Supreme Court on Friday lifted the ban on women's entry into the Sabarimala temple of Kerala, media reports said.

The top Court on Aug 1 reserved its verdict on the clutch of pleas that have been challenging the ban on the entry of women, who are aged between 10 to 50 years, in the Sabarimala Temple in Kerala dedicated to Lord Ayyappan.

The five-judge constitutional bench led by Chief Justice Dipak Misra passed the verdict.
