Road accident in UP's Bijnore kills five

Bijnore, Aug 8 (UNI): Five people were killed and five others were injured in a collision between three trucks under Kotwali police station area of the district, police said on Thursday.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Sanjeev Tyagi said here that the accident occurred at around 11 pm on Wednesday night at Kali Madir roundabout when three track collided with each other.

He said five people were killed while five others were injured, who were admitted to the hospital.

The deceased were identified as Raghuveer (55), Pramod (28), Johnny (25), Rahul (28) and Pankaj (29).

Among the deceased, four were native of Rampur.
