New Delhi, June 11 (IBNS): Rebel Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Kapil Mishra on Monday moved the Delhi High Court  against Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for his poor attendance in the Delhi assembly.

Mishra's plea claimed that Kejriwal, who holds the water portfolio, was present only seven times in 2017, media reports said.

The plea sought directions to the LG and the speaker to ensure the presence of Kejriwal in assembly.

His petition also claimed  that Kejriwal was not present in the assembly during the Question Hour in the last 40 months.

The matter is likely to be taken up by the court on Tuesday.
