Rajshahi: Road mishap kills 6

Rajshahi/IBNS: A car slammed a tree in Bangladesh's Rajshahi area and left a least six people dead, media reports said.

The accident took place on the Rajshahi-Chapainawabganj road in Upazila’s Kadirpur around 12:30pm on Saturday, according to the police, bdnews24 reported.

The victims could not be identified.

A car from Rajshahi was heading to Godabari when the driver lost control and crashed into a tree. Three people died on the spot,” Godabari Police OC Khairul Islam told the news portal.

Fire service personnel with the help of a few locals rescued the injured people.
