Rajiv Bansal takes charge as Secy of Ministry of Civil Aviation

New Delhi/IBNS: Rajiv Bansal has assumed the charge as Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

Bansal assumed the office following the superannuation of Pradeep Singh Kharola, on September 30.

He is an Indian Administrative Services Officer of 1988 batch, from Nagaland cadre.

He has held many important positions including Chairman and Managing Director of Air India Ltd under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Additional Secretary of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.

Bansal has also held several key positions in the government of Nagaland.
