Rajasthan man arrested for sacrificing daughter to 'appease Allah'

Jodhpur, June 10 (IBNS): A man has been arrested in Rajasthan's Piparcity area for allegedly sacrificing his daughter to appease Allah during the holy month of Ramzan, media reports said.

The man, identified as Nawab Ali, was arrested on Saturday.

He reportedly slit his elder daughter's throat on Friday at their residence.

His daughter Rizwana (4) went missing and a search by the family led them to discover her body at the ground floor of the house.

When grilled by police, Nawab Ali, admitted to have killed his daughter to appease Allah.
