Rahul Gandhi to address public rallies in Chaibasa, Dhanbad tomorrow

Ranchi, May 6 (UNI): Congress president Rahul Gandhi will be back for campaigning in the state for the 6th phase of elections during which he will address a public rally in Chaibasa and later also hold a roadshow in Dhanbad tomorrow.

In the sixth phase of elections, voting will be held on May 12 on four Lok Sabha seats of Jharkhand including Dhanbad, Giridih, Jamshedpur and Singhbhum (ST).

As part of Mahagathbandhan in the state, Congress is contesting seven seats out of which it has fielded its candidate of Dhanbad and Singhbhum while its alliance partner JMM is contesting on Giridih and Jamshedpur.

JPCC spokesperson Lal Kishore Nath Shahdeo today said that in Chaibasa Mr Gandhi will be seeking votes for party nominee Geeta Koda while in Dhanbad he will be staging a roadshow for party candidate Kirti Azad Jha. Earlier Mr Gandhi had earlier held a rally in Simdega on May 2.
