Rahul Gandhi condoles death of Gujarat Congress leader Badruddin Shaikh

New Delhi/UNI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and AICC Treasurer Ahmed Patel on Monday condoled the death of Gujarat Congress leader Badruddin Shaikh due to Covid-19 disease.

'Saddened at the death of the senior leader and Congress councillor in the Ahmedabad Municipal corporation Badruddin Shaikh due to Coronavirus infection. I Express my condolences to his family and his supporters in this hour of grief," Rahul said in a condolence message.

Expressing condolences on the death of the Congress leader, senior Congress leader and AICC Treasurer Ahmed Patel said, 'I am anguished by the untimely demise of my colleague Badruddin Bhai. A committed Congress worker, he always placed the welfare of society ahead of his own well being This is a grave loss for Ahmedabad & entire Gujarat. My condolences to his family & well-wishers.'
