Rafale deal : Subramanian Swamy hits back at Rahul Gandhi

| @indiablooms | Sep 01, 2018, at 10:40 pm

Guwahati, Sep 1 (IBNS): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Subramanian Swamy on Saturday took a jibe at Congress president Rahul Gandhi after the latter alleged that the saffron party-led government had changed the Rafale deal to favour industrialist.

The senior BJP leader attacked the Congress president saying Rahul is on bail in the National Herald case.

“It is a prima facie case of fraud, cheating, criminal conspiracy, criminal breach of trust, criminal misappropriation of property. My case is going on. He is now making allegations against other people corruption. How can I credibility for that,” Swamy said.

On the other hand, reacting to Congress’s demands to set up of a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to probe into the Rafale deal, Swamy said that they didn’t give any basis to form the JPC into the Rafale deal.

“When it done for Bofors scam, then the Swedish official gave the fact that so much had happened,” Swamy said.

On the Ram temple issue, Swamy said that the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya will begin soon.

He hinted that the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya will begin on Diwali.

“We are now waiting for the judgement of the Supreme Court. I hope the verdict will come within a week,” Swamy said.
