Punjab:Class 10 girl gangraped in Hoshiarpur village

Hoshiarpur/UNI: A student of tenth standard was gang raped by four persons.

According to the police sources, Yashdeep of local Ravidas Nagar, befriended an 18-year-old girl with one Aman of the same area.

Later, Aman asked the girl to meet him and on August 23 the former alongwith Yashdeep took the girl on a scooter in a room near a marriage palace on local Chandigarh road where Aman allegedly raped her.

Before leaving the room, Aman also took the victim's clothes. Later, Yasheep, his uncle and one unidentified person also allegedly raped the girl in the room.

Investigating Officer (IO) Inspector Kamlesh Kumari said that Sadar police have arrested Yashdeep and Aman under sections 376D and 506 of the IPC and raids were being conducted to nab two other accused.
