Punjab: Police recover 25 boxes of illegal liquor in Moga

Moga, Jun 10 (UNI) The district police conducted a raid in a house of Saidoke village, recovering 25 boxes of various brands of illegal liquor, the police said in a statement on Monday. 

According to the police, a total of 25 boxes of illegal liquor of various brands manufactured by the Haryana distilleries were recovered.

 

The accused on seeing the police, tried to run but police party overpowered him.


The case was registered under Excise Act, the police added.
