Puducherry, Aug 3 (IBNS) : A 17-year-old Puducherry girl, who was severely burnt last week end after being hugged by a stalker-in-flames, died on Wednesday morning, reports said.

On Saturday, the teen had been at home with her younger siblings in Villupuram when the man, Senthil, barged in, poured kerosene on himself and lit a match. He then embraced the girl and held her until she too was caught by the fire.

Senthil, a 32-year-old driver, had allegedly stalked and harassed the girl for over a year.
He died the same evening.
