Puducherry: Mill Worker commits suicide

Puducherry, May 7 (UNI) A worker of the now defunct Anglo-French Textile mills here allegedly committed suicide by injecting poison to himself on Monday night.

According to police, the debt forced Krishnaraj (51) to take the extreme step.

Since, the AFT workers are without salary for some time, Krishnaraj borrowed money from different persons to run the family.
When they asked to repay the money, he could not do so and a dejected Krishnaraj allegedly injected poison to himself when the family members were out of station.
