Presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu arrives in Goa

Panaji/UNI: National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu arrived in Goa Thursday.

Upon arrival at Dabolim Airport in South Goa, she was received by Union Minister Shripad Naik, Goa Protocol Minister Mauvin Godinho, Goa BJP President Sadanand Shet Tanavade and Rajya Sabha member Vinay Tendulkar, among others.

Murmu is to meet MLAs and MPs as part of the election campaign.

"She is visiting Goa. She will be meeting all the MLAs for canvassing for the presidential election," Godinho told reporters.

Rajya Sabha MP Vinay Tendulkar expressed confidence that NDAs candidate will win the elections with maximum number of votes.
