President of India’s message on the eve of National Day of Sierra Leone

New Delhi, Apr 26 (IBNS) President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, on Tuesday, extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Sierra Leone on the eve of their National Day (April 27, 2016).
In a message to Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, the President of the Republic of Sierra Leone, the President Mukherjee said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to convey to you, to the Government and the people of the Republic of Sierra Leone warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your National Day." 
 
He  further said, "Our engagement has expanded steadily in recent years, particularly in the areas of trade and development cooperation. Your participation in the Third India-Africa Forum Summit held in New Delhi last October provided a valuable opportunity for both sides to discuss ways to further strengthen our multi-faceted engagement. I am confident that our close and friendly relations will continue to strengthen in the years ahead."
