New Delhi, Aug 6 (IBNS): President of India Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire on the eve of their National Day (August 7, 2016).

In a message to the President of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara, the Indian President said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it is with great pleasure that I extend warm greetings and felicitations to you, to the Government and the people of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire on the occasion of your National Day.

I take this opportunity to, once again, convey my sincere appreciation and thank you for the warm welcome and gracious hospitality accorded to me and to my delegation during my recent State Visit to the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire.

I am confident that our discussions on important aspects of the cooperation between our two countries – including developmental projects, human resource development and further expansion of our bilateral trade and investment, would be the starting point of a new phase in the multi-faceted partnership between our two countries.

Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes for your good health and well-being as well as for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire."
