President Kovind wishes nation on Milad-un-Nabi

New Delhi, Nov 20 (IBNS): President of India Ram Nath Kovind on Tuesday wished the nation on the occasion of Milad-un-Nabi.

He wished the Muslim brothers and sisters on the day.

“On the auspicious occasion of Milad-un-Nabi, the birthday of the Prophet, I extend my good wishes to all fellow citizens, especially to my Muslim brothers and sisters," Kovind said in a statement.

Milad-un-Nabi or Mawlid is observance of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.

It is celebrated on the 12th day of Islamic month Rabi' al-awwal.
