Prayagraj: Two killed in road mishap

Prayagraj, May 20 (UNI) Two motorcycle-borne youths were killed in a road mishap in the Nawabganj area of this district in Uttar Pradesh, police said on Monday.

According to sources, Shivam (18) and Tasleem (20), residents of Semai village in the Nawabganj police station area were returning after attending a programme, late Sunday night.

Meanwhile, a speeding truck rammed into their motorcycle at the Berwan chauraha, resulting in on the spot death of the duo.

The driver fled from the spot along with his truck.

A case has been registered into the matter and police is searching for the absconding driver, sources added.
