Pranab Mukherjee extends Diwali greetings to countrymen

New Delhi, Nov 10 (IBNS): President of India Pranab Mukherjee has sent his greetings to fellow countrymen on the eve of Diwali.
In his message, the President has said, “On the joyous occasion of Diwali, I convey warm greetings and good wishes to all my fellow countrymen in India and around the world."
 
"Diwali represents the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. May the festival serve as a catalyst for greater unity within our country. Let us on this occasion join forces, share happiness, help the needy and engage in collective efforts to lead our nation to greater and greater glory," he said. 
 
"May the festival bring joy and prosperity to all sections of our people across the length and breadth of the country. I urge all Indians to celebrate Diwali in a pollution free manner," said he.
