Poonch: Collision between truck and mini bus leaves 17 injured

Jammu/UNI: At least 17 persons were injured when a mini bus they were travelling in, collided with a truck in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Station House Officer, Poonch, S D Singh here said that an accident took place on Wednesday near Dalera in which one mini bus coming from Surankote towards Poonch, collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction.

The injured have been identified as Azad Ahmed 26 of Dundak, Nasir Hussain 55, resident of Dalera Bhainch, Mohammad Aslam, 63, Nasir Ahmed, 19, Mohd Fareed 50, Rubhina Bi 30, Mohd Umar 21, Mohd Mushtaq 37, Abdul Khaliq 30, Raseeda Bi 30, Sareefa Begum 30, Rubina Kouser 20, Sardeep Ansal 25, Shalena Begum 29, Zahida Kouser 25 and Rubina Kouser, 30.

The injured have been admitted to District Hospital Poonch.
