PM Modi visits Elephant Falls, heritage village near Shillong

Shillong, May 28 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Mattilang Amusement Park, the Heritage Village at Mawphlang as well as the Elephant Falls in Upper Shillong on Saturday morning.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by Governor of Meghalaya,V Shanmuganathan, Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Mukul Sangma, Union Mos DoNER, Jitendra Singh and Meghalaya Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Zenith Sangma among others.s.

The PM  took some snaps at the famous tourist site which is about 12 kilometres from the state capital.

. Modi also visited Mawphlang village, 25 kilometres from Shillong.

He  enjoyed cultural programme presented by local folk artists.

Modi arrived in the city on Friday and will be leaving for the capital on Saturday
