PM Modi to flag off Madhya Pradesh's first Vande Bharat Express
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Saturday launch Madhya Pradesh's first Vande Bharat Express train from Bhopal's Rani Kamlapati station, which will run to New Delhi.
Modi will also attend the Joint Commanders' Conference-2023 at Kushabhau Thakre Hall in Bhopal.
The PM will flag off the Bhopal-Delhi Vande Bharat Express train at a function to be held at Rani Kamlapati station, the railway station developed and operated by the country's first private developer, at 3:15 PM.
This train will run six days a week except for Saturday. The train will depart from Delhi at 5:30 AM and reach Delhi at 1:15 PM and return at 2:30 PM or 3:45 pm. On its way, the train will halt at Laxmibai Jhansi, Gwalior and Agra stations.
West Central Railway has been entrusted with the responsibility of operation and maintenance of this train.
According to experts, this 11th Vande Bharat Express will be the first Vande Bharat Express in the country that will be able to run at a speed of 160 km per hour on the Delhi to Agra section. Earlier, the maximum speed of 10 Vande Bharat Express trains was 130 km per hour.
Vande Bharat Express has redefined the travel experience of passengers in the country.
This will be the country's eleventh Vande Bharat Express. Indigenously designed Vande Bharat Express has been designed, and equipped with excellent travel facilities.
The train will provide a fast, comfortable and convenient travel experience to all passengers, boost tourism and boost economic development in the region.
The Vande Bharat Express has a total of 16 coaches. These include 14 AC chair cars and two executive class coaches. In this, 1128 seats will be available for passengers.
