PM Modi remembers Madiba on Nelson Mandela Day
New Delhi, July 18 (IBNS) Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday remembered former South African President Nelson Mandela on Nelson Mandela Day.
"Remembering the apostle of peace, a shining beacon of democracy and a champion of equality, the beloved Madiba on Nelson Mandela Day," the Prime Minister said.
Nobel peace laureate and iconic anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela passed away at the age of 95 in 2013.
