New Delhi, Aug 6 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has paid homage to all those who lost their lives in Hiroshima bombings during the World War-II.

"My homage to all those who lost their lives in Hiroshima. The bombings remind us of the horrors of war and their effect on humanity.  Solution to problems of humanity lie in peace and progress. Let us walk shoulder to shoulder to create a peaceful world, free from violence," the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister of Japan Shinzō Abe replied to Modi's message.

He said,"PM Modi, thank you from my heart for your thoughtful message. I deeply appreciate Indian people’s solidarity for Hiroshima. Let’s continue to work together for the cause of world peace."
