PM Modi on a two-day visit to Varanasi, will launch developmental works

New Delhi/Varanasi, Sep 22 (IBNS): Prime minister Narendra Modi will reach Varanasi on Friday for a two-day visit where he will launch several developmental works.

The prime minister will inaugurate a trade facilitation centre for handicrafts, Hastkala Sankul.

He will also flag off Mahamana Express that will connect Varanasi to Vadodara and Surat.

Apart from these two, there are several other projectslike Utkarsh Bank, Jal Ambulance service and Jal Shav Vahan service.

On Saturday, the PM, who is an MP from Varanasi, will join a sanitation related activity in Shahanshahpur and also visit a Pashudhan Arogya Mela.

Later, he will address a public meeting.

Modi will be in Varanasi for the first time in six months after the victory of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Uttar Pradesh assembly election.

The prime minister was seen to extensively campaign for the BJP in the 2017 assembly election in UP.
