PM Modi lays foundation stone of Char Dham highway development project in Dehra Dun

Dehra Dun, Dec 27 (IBNS): PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the Char Dham highway development project in Dehra Dun, Uttarakhand, on Tuesday.

Called the Char Dham Rajmarg Vikas Pariyojna, it involves an investment of Rs 12,000 crores to build the 900km long highway connecting the four points of the Char Dham in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand.

The PM also visited an exhibition during the launch of the project.

The PM will also address a public gathering in Dehra Dun on Tuesday.
