PM Modi is now the most popular leader in the world : Assam CM Sonowal

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Wednesday said the nation is now going on the way of fastest development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sonowal said that PM Modi is now the most popular leader in the world and the entire nation is proud of him.

The Assam Chief Minister said it while taking part in the Gandhi Sankalpa Yatra in Guwahati organised by Assam Pradesh BJP to mark the celebration of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

He also distributed jute bags among the people.

Sonowal had also collected garbage from road and appealed to the people to clean and green our environment and to preserve flora and fauna.

He also appealed to the people to boycott the use of plastics and make a pollution free and green environment.

The Assam Chief Minister said through the “Swachhata Hi Seva”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has appealed the people of the country to keep their own areas clean.

“Following this appeal we took part in the Gandhi Sankalpa Yatra and the entire country takes part in this yatra,” Sonowal said.
