Ajmer, Oct 6 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a rally in Ajmer, a city in poll-bound Rajasthan, on Saturday.

Modi will address a gathering in Kayad, Ajmer, at 1 pm.

The Prime Minister will conclude the 58-day long Yatra, which is considered to be poll campaign of Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) candidate, media reports said.

The Congress-led by its state chief Sachin Pilot is trying to defeat the saffron outfit in the state, giving boost to his party in the run up to 2019 General Election.

The Rajasthan poll is crucial for both the BJP and Congress ahead of the next Lok Sabha elections, which will be held in few months' time.

However, a recent poll survey has predicted the Congress will go past BJP to wrest power in the state in the upcoming Assembly election.

The Election Commission (EC) will announce the poll dates for the state on Saturday.
