PM Modi condoles death of Gujarati folk singer Diwaliben Bhil

New Delhi, May 19 (IBNS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday condoled the death of Gujarati folk singer Diwaliben Bhil.

"Sad to know of passing away of well known Gujarati folk singer Diwaliben Bhil. Her contribution to the cultural sphere is monumental. RIP.," the PM tweeted.

Bhil, a Padma Shri awardee, was famous for her bhajan, garba and folk songs.
