PM Modi arrives in Iran, offers prayers at Bhai Ganga Singh Sabha Gurudwara

Tehran, May 22 (IBNS): Reaching Iran for his two-day visit to the nation, Indian Prime Minister offered prayers at the Bhai Ganga Singh Sabha Gurudwara here on Sunday.

Modi addressed the Sikh community at the Gurudwara and said: "It's a matter of great privilege to celebrate 350 anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh shortly."

He said: "Our new generation should learn from the central tenets of Guru Granth Sahib."

He urged the community to work together and serve humanity.

After arriving at the airport in the nation, he was received by Iranian Economic Affairs and Finance Minister Ali Tayebnia.
