PM addresses Jharkhand rally, assures development

Jamshedpur, Nov 29 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing an election rally in assembly-poll bound Jharkhand's Jamshedpur on Saturday urged voters to elect a majority government of BJP in the state so that the dreams of the state can be realised.

"Form a majority government in Jharkhand and I assure you a dream state," he told the gathering.

Modi said the election is crucial in Jharkhand since this is the adolescent period of the state (between 13 and 18) and nothing should go wrong at this stage in the state like it happens with humans as parents who care for their boy or girl of that age is never ashamed of them later and they make them proud later.

He said the future of Jharkhand will be decided in next five years.

He said he will help the state to receive Rs 20,000 crore in the next few years so that the state can be self-sufficient.

He is also scheduled to address a rally in Ranchi before leaving for Northeast on a four-day trip.

The PM is slated to address the country’s top police chiefs, flag off a train line from Meghalaya to Assam, commission a power project in Tripura and inaugurate festivals in Nagaland and Manipur during his visit to the region.
